Mistakes I often made when selling design and UX; and why it helps to understand how this made clients feel.
Simon kicks off the evening with an honest retelling of daft things he's said and done when selling UX over the years. Using understanding from neuroscience and coaching, Amanda will then explain how this made clients feel; and how those feelings shaped their reactions.
ABOUT THE SPEAKERS
Amanda and Simon Cookson lend a hand to ambitious digital and creative businesses. They work with founders, leaders and makers to unlock value within themselves, their people and their partnerships.
Since both gaining an MA in Management in the creative sector from The University of Sheffield's Business School in the mid 90s, both Amanda and Simon have worked in and around the sector for over 20 years. Simon's experience centres around sales, marketing and client services, whilst Amanda has built her skills in the field of people management, change and leadership.
When it comes to creating value we reckon people and relationships make all the difference.

Ideally, but if you forget to bring it we'll not turn you away if your name is on our list of attendees
