Route description

This vintage hike from Edale offers a challenging and rewarding winter adventure. Starting with a steep climb - occasionally light scramble - up Grindsbrook Clough, you’ll ascend onto Kinder Scout before looping around the stunning Vale of Edale. The route takes in Kinder Low’s rugged views back to Manchester, the rolling paths of Brown Knoll, and the iconic Mam Tor ridge. Expect dramatic winter scenery, varied terrain, and panoramic Peak District vistas. A great choice for experienced Freshwalkers seeking plenty of elevation and breathtaking landscapes.
