Valentines Self Love Workshop
A luscious evening of embodiment, self-reflection and ritual to reconnect with our beautiful, whole selves.
Overview:
"When was the last time you wrote yourself a to-do list? When was the last time you wrote yourself a love letter?"
A luscious, indulgent evening of embodiment, self-reflection and ritual to reconnect with our beautiful, whole selves, while acknowledging our blocks, shadows and capitalist guilt. Coupled or not, this space invites you to meet, flirt with and marry yourself - your guaranteed life-long soul mate!
Who is this for?
This event is for any and all genders, abilities, backgrounds and ages. If you are looking for an opportunity to reflect on your journey with self-love with a gentle and supported space, this event is for you. This evening not seek to "fix" or "solve" any blocks you have, but gently acknowledge them, and celebrate your wholeness. We will ask:
"What would happen if you stopped trying to become someone better and started dating the person you already are?" - Christopher Sexton.
Your facilitator for this journey:
Aleesha Wiegandt has her background education in global citizenship, activism, mental health policy and community arts. She has been practicing connective spaceholding for over eight years, holding communities and individuals on journeys of self-reflection, mutual sharing and embodied understanding with nuance and deep care. Her approach is very much informed by anti-capitalist and anti-consumerist value systems, believing that we can repair harms done to us by systems of oppression and repression by practicing community care and true solidarity. At the core of this work, is deepening the connection with self and body by creating sustainable ways of experiencing joy, pleasure and poetic texture in life.
"Aleesha held this workshop with such authenticity and care, giving me permission to share deeply, while also leaving with a refreshingly light feeling. I felt calm and present." - Anon., 2026
"I went into this space feeling really nervous to be honest. I had never gone to a sharing circle before, and was worried about that but Aleesha was so welcoming and it was so nice to have someone who was intentional about recognising all the cultures who's practices have influenced her work (...) you can really recognise the care she puts in." - Claire, 2025
What is included?
This evening will include:
- Group contracting and curating a confidential "brave space"
- Meditation and embodiment practices
- Group sharing excerices (with sacred silence always welcome)
- Creative reflective ritual and vow-making using natural materials
- Nourishing snacks and refreshments
- Luscious space and calming soundscape
- Follow-up email with resources and practices to continue the work.
