Ventilation/Perfusion: 3D Quantification Workshop 2019

The nuclear medicine department of the Royal Brompton Hospital will be hosting a workshop for 3D lobar quantification of lung perfusion and ventilation. The workshop will showcase this recently developed software in partnership with Hermes to address the clinical demand for pre-surgical assessment in patients with severe COPD and lung tumours. The programme will include talks from experts such as respiratory physician and cardio-thoracic surgeon who will enlighten the attendees about the integration of imaging into patient pathways. We aim to provide hands on training for image processing and on applications of 3D lobar quantification to the interested nuclear medicine teams. Target audienceThis one day workshop is particularly suitable for departments wishing to gain basic experience to set up their own 3D lobar quantification service. Teams comprising of professionals from clinical, technical and medical physics backgrounds will benefit from this workshop. Teaching will be based on lectures, case presentation and practical sessions.Lunch and refreshments will be provided Refund PolicyA full refund will be given if cancellation occurs more than 4 weeks prior to the course start date. A 50% refund will be given if cancellation occurs between 2 and 4 weeks prior to the course start date.The event is limited to 20 places and tickets will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis.
