Video Jam, 'One of Manchester's most innovative nights' (Manchester Wire), have curated a unique programme of film and live sound work in response to the sensory work of Ryoichi Kurokawa. The event features a variety of short contemporary films, each accompanied live by different composers or sound artists from Liverpool and Manchester. Some audio/visual work will be specially commissioned to respond directly to Kurokawa's exhibition themes.
Video Jam is on an ongoing series of unique, experimental events which seek to explore and re-examine relationships between live sound and moving image. Expect a wide range of music and film genres in the backdrop of FACT's brilliant multi-screen gallery space!
This event is presented by FACT and Video Jam in association with Bido Lito!
