Vine Maintainace at Denbies

Join the Surrey Hills Rangers as we undertake some light maintenance of the vines at Denbies Wine Estate.

Join the Surrey Hills Rangers as we undertake some light maintenance of the vines at Denbies Wine Estate. This will include removing weeds and some self-seeded trees from the farmed areas to allow the vines to flourish.

We will meet at the entrance to the main building at Denbies.

What to bring/wear

- Weather-appropriate clothing, long trousers are advised

- Work gloves (we have plenty of spare pairs but some people prefer to wear their own)

- Suncream/sunhat if it is sunny

- Water bottle

- Mug for a hot drink

- Sturdy footwear such as walking boots

Additional information

Toilets are available in the main building, a short walk from where we will be working.

No dogs please.

Free parking is available in the main car park.

Under 18s are welcome at our events. Under 16s must be accompanied by a responsible adult. 16-18s must have a signed parental consent form to attend independently. Please email volunteering@surreyhillssociety.org.
