Our Principal Social Worker is hosting regular recruitment sessions where you will have the opportunity to hear more about our service, our new Building Brighter Futures practice model and how you can be a part of the great work happening in York to make the difference for our children and young people.
Join us on 18 June 2024 9am - 10am online for our City of York Children’s Services Recruitment Event.
These events are open to Qualified Social Workers and those interested in taking the next step into a Senior Social Worker or Service Manager role.
Please note, we do not have a sponsorship licence to sponsor anyone for visas to work in the UK, therefore we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.
What to expect on the day?
• Virtually meet and chat with our Principal Social Worker about the specific social work roles within our service.
• Learn about what the young people in York want from their social workers through our Children’s Rights and Advocacy Service
• Find out about our commitment to career progression and the opportunities we provide to all social workers who meet the progression criteria to advance to Senior Social Worker.
• Hear about our staff benefits and generous pay and reward package.
