Virtual Roundtable: Future Directions For Life Science Informatics

About this event

MetaCell – experts in software development & analytics for the biomedical industry – would like to invite you to a roundtable discussion (Thursday, May 27th) to explore future directions for life science informatics related to visualization and analytics.

Today more than ever, life sciences data are being aggregated to make key strategic decisions that can impact the success of life science companies globally. With new data comes new opportunities to unlock valuable intel if managed effectively. Off-the-shelf business intelligence (BI) and analytics software (Tableau, Spotfire, etc) provide accessible platforms to create custom informatics software solutions. However, with any platform comes challenges as you expand the scope of your BI dashboard.

With this in mind, MetaCell is hosting a virtual roundtable discussion that will bring together thought leaders from some of the top life science and healthcare organizations to share data challenges and future goals to improve the field of data management and informatics in the life sciences. The discussion will be open-ended, focusing on your needs as leaders in this space to facilitate the research, development, and commercialization of therapeutics, diagnostics, and healthcare services.

The event is free to attend. Register today to participate in the discussion!

Agenda

1. Unique life science data visualization and analysis needs that go beyond off-the-shelf BI software capabilities

2. How the optimal dashboard should enable you to:

  • increase visibility across your organization;
  • automate the collection and analysis of all essential data;
  • facilitate alignment across research and business units;
  • create an adaptive, AI-driven monitoring system to spot key trends.

3. Q&A / Brainstorming

Speakers

Jerry Skefos, PhD, Director of Science Outreach at MetaCell, will chair the meeting and will be joined by a selected number of thought leaders and decision-makers across some of the top life science and healthcare organizations.

TESTIMONIALS

"Working with the team at MetaCell has been great for our project. They took the time to really understand what we were trying to achieve with the Virtual Fly Brain system and the results are outstanding." Douglas Armstrong, Institute for Adaptive and Neural Computation, University of Edinburgh

"We are delighted to have found in MetaCell a developer with a very high level of professionalism, people who understand science and who are committed to the open source model. Their work has combined architectural rigour and good development practice with a healthy dose of visual flair. We certainly intend to work with them in the future."Gregory Jefferis, MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology, Cambridge
