If possible please arrive on foot, by bus or bike. Bikes can be stored inside. The bus stop at Bramley Shopping centre is only a few minutes walk away. If arriving by car there is parking in front and around side of the church building.

Neurodivergent friendly

As a AuDHDer I am aware of the overwhelm that can come with attending events and I will be trying to incorporate ND friendly elements to all events as standard. Clear communication, keeping to time, freedom to sit on floor if more comfortable, calm corner in sofa area, no background music etc.

There will be access to teas, coffees and biscuits as part of the workshop. The milk provided will be oat milk. There will be gluten free snacks available.

St Margaret's Room is a newly refurbished space within St Peter's church. It is available for community groups to hire. It has an new industrial style kitchen, comfy seating and capacity for 40 people at tables.

St Peter's Church is a family friendly and welcoming Church of England church. It is part of the Inclusive Church movement and welcomes everyone. It is at the heart of the Bramley community and many local music, theatre and exercise groups use the building weekly for their activities.

Get crafty with your friends and spend time thinking about 2026

Make a Vision Board for 2026 - come and spend some time with friends and potential friends, thinking about the year ahead.

Part of the series Seeds for Growth: walks, talks and workshops on nature reconnection.

The session will have a soft start; when participants arrive they will first take a moment to open the bundle of specially selected cuttings, clippings, inspo and words that I have put together; having a look at what images and words speak to them.

Once participants have had a look at their pack there is the opportunity to make refreshments, move around the room, chat to others and swap images, as well picking more inspiration for their Vision Board from a table of further supplies.

Half an hour into the session I will bring everyone together. At this point everyone will have had time to open their packs, chat and swap with neighbours, pick up more materials and grab a drink.

We'll start with a grounding moment where we'll breathe and think about what this year might hold and how we want to be in it.

After that let the crafting commence! Let yourself be inspired by the images and possibilities of what the year has in store and make something tangible that you can take home and look at everyday to remind you of your hopes and dreams for the year.

There will be lots of resources and guidance. We'll be cutting and sticking images to inspire us for the year ahead onto our vision board. My collection of craft supplies and magazines are vast and come from sustainable sources e.g old magazines, pretty packaging, upcycled card. There is a strong nature theme (among other things) in the resources on offer, so if you want other images, feel free to bring your own.

You will be able to have a go on an old typewriter to type up quotes for your vision board, use alphabet hole punches, stamps, washi tapes and more.

It will be a great space to chat with others about what influences you want to shape your life in 2026.
