Digital Schoolhouse together with Nintendo UK, uses play-based learning to engage the next generation of pupils and teachers with the Computing curriculum. Digital Schoolhouse is delivered by the UK games industry trade body Ukie and is backed by the video games industry and government. Sponsors include PlayStation®, SEGA, Ubisoft and Outright Games.

Our aim is to showcase the diversity of roles in the Creative Digital sector, to inspire the next generation of women in tech. Your story will help shape our future workforce.This event is supported by the Creative Digital industries and designed to spark innovative, forward-thinking and sustainable ideas for our present and future digital economy. Visionaries also spotlights viable careers pathways through networking opportunities with industry professionals throughout the day. Agenda13.00 - 14.00: Student presentations14.00 - 14.10: Break14.10 - 15.10: Student presentations15.10 - 16.00: Student &amp; industry drinks &amp; networking16.00 - 16.30: Awards ceremony16.30: Event closeHow does the day work?<ul><li>Fifteen teams of five students will compete (one team per school)</li><li>A creative brief will be distributed to participating schools for teams to review ahead of the day </li><li>On the day, teams will be provided with a number of resources to develop a prototype and create a pitch and presentation in answer to the creative brief, with the help of a dedicated mentor from the Creative Digital industries</li><li>Pitches will be presented to an expert panel of judges and a winning team will be selected as the Visionaries Champions 2020</li></ul>Digital Schoolhouse together with Nintendo UK, uses playful learning to engage the next generation of pupils and teachers with the Computing curriculum. The programme offers many opportunities for enrichment with a focus on creativity that spans the whole curriculum.e-Magine conducts customised training and workshops for individuals of all ages to equip them with the skills that will prove to be a major asset regardless of the industry in which they belong.
