The Visual Science of Art Conference (VSAC)is an annual conference that invites talks, posters, conversations and demonstrations, connecting visual arts and science at empirical, experimental, philosophical, phenomenological, art historical and computational level.
This year VSAC will be held in the stunning Museum Reinhard Ernst, one of the only museums worldwide dedicated solely to abstract art with a world-famous collection. Conference tickets include free entry to the museum's collection and special exhibition.
People are also welcome to attend and enjoy the exchange without presenting any work.
We are excited to introduce you to our selected Keynote speakers:
- Aaron Hertzmann (Adobe Research, USA)
- Marina Iosifian (University of St. Andrews, UK).
VSAC began in 2012, when Baingio Pinna organised it as a satellite symposium for the European Conference on Visual Perception (ECVP). This year ECVP will be held in Mainz from Aug 24-28.
