Algorave DJs and new media artists, in collaboration with The Rhythm Studio, teach their coding skills at Kensington and Chelsea College in North Kensington. You will learn how to create alien rhythms and freaky visuals, taught by leading live-coding DJ's.

In this two-hour workshop for young people, Antonio Roberts and Guy John will introduce you to the world of live coding. After a short look at how artists and musicians use code to make visuals and music in real time at Algoraves, you will have the chance to make your own visuals using the LiveCodeLab tool.

No coding experience necessary!

The Rhythm Studio is a music academy where students are inspired to develop their musical talents while learning to play and produce the music that they love. Its community of young musicians form bands, write and produce their own music, and perform at live gigs throughout the year. The music school is home of full-time music courses for sixth form students, after-school and weekend classes, and school holiday camps.

This event is FREE to attend. As spaces are limited, we ask for a fully refundable booking fee of £5, which will be fully refunded upon arrival at the workshop. There are 12 spaces available at each workshop.
