He's an independent researcher-developer with over fifteen years of experience helping PhD candidates prepare for the viva. He has delivered over 500 viva preparation workshops to more than 9000 candidates all over the UK. He writes and shares theViva Survivorsdaily blog, and has done so since April 2017: daily thoughts, advice, ideas and practical tips for the viva.

Need to get started on your viva prep but feeling a bit meh about it? Viva coming up but feeling a bit overwhelmed because of what the world is like just now? Or doing a PhD and simply have an hour free on Wednesday 8th April 2020?!
Then come to this free 1-hour online event where you can:

<LI>learn five fun and creative ways to start preparing for your viva;</LI>
<LI>ask questions about the viva and viva prep - and get answers!</LI>
</UL>
The session is free to attend and will take place live over Zoom: you won't need to prepare much in advance, but might want to have some paper to hand for making notes or starting some activities. Joining instructions will be sent on to you after registration. Registration is limited to 60 places, so book soon if you want to come!
