VOLTA — Contemporary Dance for Ages 12–14

Thursdays · 6–7pm
Corbett Community Library
£12

VOLTA is a new contemporary dance group for teen girls aged 12–14.

A space to move, create, experiment and express yourself through contemporary dance.

Each session will explore different ways of moving — playing with rhythm, space, music, improvisation and choreography. There’s room to be energetic, curious, playful, powerful, quiet or completely yourself.

You don't need to be an experienced dancer. VOLTA is about discovering what your body can do, developing confidence and creativity, and finding your own way of moving.

What to expect, introductions to:

✨ Contemporary dance technique
✨ Improvisation and creative movement
✨ Choreography and learning phrases
✨ Exploring music, rhythm and space
✨ Building confidence and physical awareness
✨ A supportive, relaxed and creative environment

VOLTA is a place to move without having to get everything “right”.

Come as you are. Move your way.

MOVE. CREATE. BE YOU.
