The Orchard contains fruit and nut trees, soft fruit bushes, hedgerows, wildflowers and grasses. It's managed for education & biodiversity. There is a section of hazels that are regularly coppiced, and wildlife habitats including dead hedges and wood piles. We hold regular events and workshops. Under 18s welcome if accompanied by an adult. Unfortunately the Orchard is not wheelchair accessible (yet!). Dress appropriately for the outdoors with waterproof footwear and bring refreshments & gloves (we do have some available). Tools will be provided. This session is held in collaboration with Harmony Gardens so there is opportunity to volunteer there too.
