Volunteering Taster Session: Auchnacraig Woodlands

Join our Biodiversity Action Team volunteer group in West Dunbartonshire

Are you passionate about nature, the environment, and making a real difference in your local community? Come and join the The Conservation Volunteers in West Dunbartonshire! We're a friendly, hands-on group working to protect and improve local green spaces through practical conservation tasks.

Join us for this short taster session to learn about the work that we do and meet the group. We'll be cutting back some overgrowing vegetation to make the pathways more accessible and increase light levels.

📍 Location:

• In this session we'll be working in Auchncraig Woodlands
• Meeting point: Meet at the entrance to the woodlands on Auchnacraig Road/end of Waulking Mill Road

🧤 What to Bring:

• Sturdy footwear (boots or wellies recommended)
• Weather-appropriate clothing
• Water and a packed lunch (tea and biscuits provided)
• Enthusiasm and a love for the outdoors!

Whether you're looking to meet new people, learn new skills, get active, or do your bit for the environment, we’d love to have you along.

We can provide travel expenses up to £6.00.
