Our flagship family-friendly event, Voyage of Discovery is back for 2025 - this time in the heart of the University of Plymouth campus. Visitors can get hands-on with research, meet the scientists behind the breakthroughs, and experience where discoveries happen.

Don’t miss your chance to meet our researchers, explore fascinating ideas, and take part in activities designed to inspire curiosity and creativity.

This event will immerse you in the latest advancements and creative projects that are shaping the future. Whether you’re interested in marine ecosystems, technology, or community engagement, there’s something for everyone at the Voyage of Discovery.

We’re pleased to offer a Quiet Hour from 09:30 to 10:30, designed for families and visitors with sensory needs. During this time, you’ll be able to explore the exhibits at your own pace, without the usual daytime crowds or noise. It’s a calmer, more accessible way to enjoy everything Voyage of Discovery has to offer.

The event is free but booking is essential.
