As a Pharmacist in a multitude of sectors we will have the opportunity to make a maximum impact on people. The day aims to break down stigma via interactive workshops on the topics of Mental Health and Addiction as well as an in-depth look into pharmacy services within a prison. Approximately 1 in 4 people in the UK will be affected by their mental health each year. Along with this the UK has the highest prevalence of drug misuse in Europe. These concerning figures are set to have a huge impact in our society, is it not important that we as health professionals have the appropriate tools to enable us to help identify, prevent and support?For only £6 (including lunch) you can attend this insightful event packed full of speakers that you won't want to miss out on. The event will also be holding a social at night in collaboration with Newcastle Pharmacy Society which gives you the opportunity to network and socialise with your fellow peers.
