#Walk50 2017
Date and time
Description
The Event:
Walk 50km with Dimbleby Cancer Care and help us raise vital funds to help make life better for people living with cancer. Now in its third year, the event has so far raised over £160,000 and seen fundraisers join Jonathan Dimbleby to walk the 50km dusk til dawn route through Central London through the night. The walk starts at St Thomas' Hospital on the banks of the River Thames, and ends back at Guy's Hospital where the charity runs its information and support services.
This year the route goes as far west as Hammersmith Bridge before heading through Central London to Canary wharf and down to Greenwich via the Greenwich Foot tunnel, then back to Guy's Hospital beneath The Shard.
We're hoping to make the event even bigger and better this year. Walking in groups of 20-25 people you will be guided along the route by a Group Leader with the full back up of our expert Support Team, and there are plenty of 'pit stops' along the way.
