Join local ‘taphophile’ (tombstone tourist) Peter McCabe for a leisurely hour-long dander around Comber Cemetery calling at 20 graves. Stops will include the final resting place of George Hackney ‘The Man Who Shot the Great War’, and Glentoran’s legendary goalscorer Fred Roberts.

The tour will also call at headstones commemorating Corporal Channing Day, ‘Baron Glentoran’ Herbert Dixon and broadcaster / raconteur Sam McAughtry. A victim from the 1920s Troubles, as well as a number of other victims from the more recent conflict, will also feature.
