Can children attend?

Children are more than welcome, the meeting takes place in a setting suitable for children and babies

Feel free to bring your children and they may even get to have cuddles from the person that brought them into the world.

Is there parking?

There is parking within a few minutes walk and we can reimburse the cost to park as well.

Question 3

Are refreshments provided?

Accepted Answer

Tea, coffee and cold drinks are available, along with something sweet to help you get through the day.

We try and cater for different dietary requirements or preferences.

Question 4

Does it cost me anything to attend?

Accepted Answer

The answer is NO. Attending the meeting is free. We can reimburse travel costs (although a receipt may be required, especially if you travel in a taxi), just let us know on the day.

Question 5

Why would I come to the meeting, isn't it just for professionals?

Accepted Answer

The MNVP doesn't function without Service User input, so we need those people that have accessed Maternity and/or Neonatal Services to come along and share their experiences or have their say on changes that are being proposed. You are NEVER 'just a Mom' or 'Just a Dad'.

Is it open to anyone?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Providing your reason for attending is because you or someone in your family has accessed Maternity and/or Neonatal Services, preferably in Walsall, within the past 3 years then you are more than welcome to attend the Meetings.
