Wassail 2020

The Community Farm grows, sources and delivers boxes of organic fruit and vegetables to homes and businesses in and around Bristol, Bath and the Chew Valley. Profits from these sales help fund activities, courses and events on our land that educate, inspire and heal. More than 500 local people share ownership of The Farm and have a say in how it is run.

<H2 CLASS="pageintro">Join us for this year's Wassail Ceremony as we toast and sing to our apple trees to promote a good harvest for the coming year.</H2>
<P>We'll be following the ancient tradition of the Orchard Wassail <SPAN>as we learn traditional wassail songs and sing together lead by folk singer </SPAN><A HREF="https://www.facebook.com/susannawatersmusic/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Susana Waters</A><SPAN>. They'll also be wreath and willow crown making and a bonfire and you'll be able to </SPAN>warm up with a cup of hot cider or mulled apple juice.</P>
<H4><SPAN>What to bring</SPAN></H4>
<P><SPAN>We're a working farm so it might be muddy. Please wear sturdy footwear such as wellies or walking boots. While there will be a bonfire it might still be cold (and a little dark) so best wrap up warm and bring a torch and some change for a hot drink. <BR></SPAN></P>
