Water - Cloud Making Workshop
Event Information
Description
For London Design Festival 2017, a group of 13 designers are coming together at the Copeland Gallery in Peckham’s Bussey Building to explore Water. Each of them has created a new work for the exhibition, responding – creatively, technologically or emotionally – to water and the vital role it plays in the natural and human world.
On Saturday the 23rd, we will fill the gallery space with clouds made of dry ice! During the 2 hour workshop, we will learn how clouds are formed in nature. We will then use craft materials to make artificial clouds inside the gallery, leading up to a group effort to try and make the largest cloud we can!
This workshop was designed with help from Clemens Winkler, a designer and materials researcher who runs the Laboratory for Narrative Materials.
This workshop is open to kids of all ages - from 5 to 105. The workshop will take two hours.
