Nia Bo

In a relaxed and friendly atmosphere I'll introduce you to the basics of watercolour. 
 * What are the different types of paper? Which are the brushes you really need? How to choose your watercolour paint?  
* After these essential questions, the workshop will start with a demonstration of the basic techniques that will allow you to become familiar with the paint and different effects that you can achieve. 
 * You'll also have the chance to add other media while painting in watercolour and have fun experimenting with unexpected ordinary tools that can allow you to create intriguing mark-making. 
 * By making simple shapes, both organic and geometric, and practicing different brush strokes you'll grasp the zen beauty of watercolour (that controllable and uncontrollable character) and you'll be able to understand the style that suits you.
 * You'll then be able to create a simple final piece based on the style of your preference together with some useful hand-outs as a reference to help you further develop your skills.
