Event description

Workshop Detail

Andrew will demonstrate how to achieve a simple, loose painting of sea-cliffs using a limited palette of watercolours.

This workshop will combine accurate pencil drawing with loose, splashy paintwork to create texture and the effect of light and shade on rocks and water.

Throughout the day there will be plenty of time to ask questions and Andrew will give his expert advise on a one to one basis.

Absolute beginners would be very welcome at this workshop, and experienced painters may find the techniques and simple approach helpful to their development.

About the Artist

Andrew is a self-taught artist, originally from Honley near Holmfirth, and now living in North Wales.
