Using water wisely in the climate-friendly garden

In this months workshop we will explore managing water wisely, future-proofing your garden to make it resilient in the face of weather extremes and climate change. We will look at drought tolerant plants, making hugelculture pots and raised beds, managing water in the garden, ways to save water and rain gardens.Please bring a chair and something to drink with you. We will go ahead rain or shine, dress for the weather. We have a gazebo to put up if it's raining. More details when you sign-up.------The workshop is being delivered as part of our 'Grow Food Eat Well' monthly sessions, which explore all aspects of local food, food growing and climate action. We are grateful for support from the National Lottery Community Fund 'Together for our Planet' funding to help us make this happen. Penarth Growing Community is a <a href="https://penarthgpg.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Gwyrddio Penarth Greening</a> (GPG) project that developed from a community-wide event held in January 2020 to gather ideas on how Penarth could take action locally to tackle the climate and nature crises. We create and maintain spaces for food growing and wildlife.GWYRDDIO PENARTH GREENING (GPG) is a Registered Charity Number 1198141.
