Devised as an unapologetic challenge to the idea of the drummer as a side person, MNDMTH shifts the drums centre stage in a free-flowing, unadulterated mishmash of experimental visuals, improvised percussive synths-scapes, old school video mashups, live beats and 808 baselines drawing on everything from old school boom bap hip hop to drill, drum n bass, Brazilian and Sudanese rhythms, noise, jazz, free improv and everything in between.<a href="http://www.stu-brown.com/mndmth" title="http://www.stu-brown.com/mndmth" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">http://www.stu-brown.com/mndmth</a>-----------------Subphotic is the electronic solo project of North Yorkshire-based composer, synthesist and multi instrumentalist Rebecca Denniff (The FLK, Bonfire Hill, Storm Chorus) Inspired by the wilderness of the North York Moors, she explores themes of darkness and solitude with lyric fragments and lush electronic soundscapes. Hiding usually behind abbreviation 'Floa', he is forloveofambient.A career originally in studio engineering took him to London, assisting sessions with many notable industry artists (while playing in the live electronic scene, primarily using laptop as instrument). After retraining at the University of the Arts, he moved to the US, pursuing location sound recording/sound design, for film based projects and media driven works.Both his studies and influence from this lifestyle, led him to change to a new approach from computer based to the hands on modality of modular synthesis to fulfil his musical expression.Over the last 7 years since returning to Scotland, he has released 5 albums on bandcamp.Most recently, he designed the sound for wavetable visual resident, Shankar Saanthakumar's 'Ximulacra' Exhibition.His style is self expressed by title ; A fusion of cinematic atmosphere, whimsical looping, minimalist repetition and layers of meditative, fluttering ripples. <a href="https://www.instagram.com/forloveofambient" title="https://www.instagram.com/forloveofambient" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://www.instagram.com/forloveofambient</a><a href="http://floa0.bandcamp.com/" title="http://floa0.bandcamp.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">http://floa0.bandcamp.com/</a>
