Weatherproof Your Soils

Weatherproof Your Soils

North HillThetford, England
Thursday, Feb 12 from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm GMT
Overview

A practical, on-farm event for farmers and land managers looking to adapt to changing weather patterns and build soil resilience.

Location: North Hill, Letton, IP25 7SA

What3Words: thud.sneezed.raves

With shorter harvest windows, changing crop establishment periods, drought, and extreme rainfall – resilient soils are more important than ever. Hear how to build soil resilience, improve soil structure, and reduce weather-related impacts to future-proof your farming business.

This event will combine theoretical insights with an in-field demonstration to give you the tools needed to make informed decisions and improve soil performance in all weather conditions. We'll cover how warmer and wetter autumns and winters are increasing weed-management challenges and affecting herbicide performance. The session will also outline practical nutrient-planning solutions for changing weather conditions, including how to adapt rates and select products that minimise nutrient losses throughout the season.

Refreshments will be provided. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements.

The CSF team will be available to answer any questions you have about the CSF offer and provide advice on queries relating to soil health, water management, farmyard infrastructure etc.
