A full day Christmas workshop at Moregeous Mansions with expert craftswoman and willow weaver Joe Gregory. This beautiful period home in Fallowfield, South Manchester hosts many varied events, from Supper Clubs with guest chefs, to Renovation Days, to crafting days with experts. Hosts Sian Astley, TV property project manager and interior designer, and Martin, aka Mr Moregeous, will welcome you into their homely, expertly designed space, to spend the day with our expert and other craft lovers. You will learn new skills, make new friends and take home a Scandi Star and other wonderfully festive woven items.
You will also enjoy a delicious festive lunch to kick off the season, and glass of chilled prosecco.
Says Joe:
"I really love my Christmas weaving workshops! There are so many smaller items that can be made. We’ll start with the impressive Swedish Stars in buff and bark on willow for a stylish two tone look. These look great on a wall and with the addition of lights look magical.
We’ll then have a choice of a number of different smaller items.
Mini reindeer, 2-D Christmas trees, bunting, 6-pointed and 5-pointed stars too.
Come alone and meet other crafty folk or come with a friend or two for a special day together."

" My friends and I booked on Joe's half day Scandi Star workshop at the RHS Bridgewater and we absolutely loved weaving our willow into stars. Mine looks beautiful in my home with all our Christmas decorations. It was such a fun and creative few hours that I was inspired to host Joe at Moregeous Mansions for our guests here to enjoya full day with her, alongside a scrumptious and relaxing lunch.

No prior experience needed but you must have good mobility in hands & feet, & be able to stand whilst working.
Please wear old (non dangly) clothes, covered toe shoes (no sandals) & little or no jewellry.
