Get creative and weave your own colourful, textured 3D wall-hanging or mobile using natural materials. This is an opportunity to spend the day experimenting and weaving with a range of natural materials, we will create a weaving loom/frame using wooden sticks, then weave in creative ways using a variety of materials such as wool, fleece, cotton, linen, raffia, nettle and grasses to create colourful, interesting woven shapes. Complete your woven piece by decorating with feathers, shells, stones, seeds etc.

This workshop aims to give you the skills and confidence needed to set up and weave using a range of natural materials on a basic frame loom.

All equipment and materials are provided. If you have any relevant weaving equipment and or natural materials, you are welcome to bring them to the workshop.

This workshop is suitable for beginners and the number of participants is limited to 10.
