Facebook introduced snapshot testing in Jest last year and it has already picked up a huge interest. Why is snapshot testing so popular? How and when should you use it, and can you use it even if you’re not using jest?

Testing UIs has always been a hard job. In the components era, there are new tools and solutions available that transform completely the way we approach testing. From snapshots, through end-to-end frameworks, to style guide testing. In this talk, we'll see some modern (and creative) testing solutions.

Front End Engineer working at Facebook, with a strong passion for beautiful UIs and crafting modern JavaScript applications. Author of "<A HREF="https://www.packtpub.com/web-development/react-design-patterns-and-best-practices" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">React Design Patterns and Best Practices</A>" (Packt).
