This webinar offers advice and guidance to help you start your writing practice, whether you are writing reports, research articles or planning your thesis. During this session, we will consider the initial stages of the writing process, from the start in making notes to techniques to organise your writing. We will also look at techniques to overcoming procrastination or ‘Writer’s block’.

We expect to cover the following topics

  • Techniques to overcome procrastination

  • Approaches to help you start an article

  • Ways to develop effective writing practices

  • The issues of confidence in writing

This webinar will help you develop skills in Self-management and Communication and dissemination, as outlined in the RDF subdomains B2 and D2.
