Weekend Throwing & Turning Workshop

Join us for an exciting weekend workshop designed for both beginners and intermediates, where you'll master the art of pottery!

You are booking a two day workshop:

Saturday (10.30am to 13.30pm): you'll dive into throwing on the potter's wheel.

Sunday (10.30am to 13.30pm): you'll learn to turn your creations into finished pieces.

This hands-on workshop offers you the unique opportunity to practice and refine your skills under the expert guidance of our Associate Artist, Iris. Beginners will benefit from step-by-step instruction in throwing, while intermediates will receive support to enhance their techniques and confidence. There might even be time to try pulling a handle.

By the end of the weekend, you'll have experienced the entire potter’s wheel process, from throwing to turning, leaving you with valuable skills and a sense of accomplishment. Don't miss this chance to unleash your creativity and take your pottery journey to the next level!

About the Associate Artist: Iris Dina Gunnarsdottir makes functional ceramics as well as other various art disciplines. Iris also teaches throwing classes — all of which can be tailored to the student's ability.
