Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Children under 16 must be accompanied

How long is the walk?

Accepted Answer

The walk is approximately  5km (3 miles) /1.5 hours. With stopping to iscuss points of interest it will be about 2 hours total time with refreshments after.

Question 3

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

There is ample parking at Frost Folly car park

Question 4

What can I bring to the event?

Accepted Answer

Suitable footwear for rough terrain, sun cream and a drink. Long trousers are preferable as some areas may be a bit overgrown.

Can I bring my dog?

Accepted Answer

Of course.  Dogs are welcome but we will be going through a field wit grazing ponies and cows. You must have your dog on a lead here. We will also e traversing two roads and there will be a short length of on-road walking with no pavement. Keeping your dog under control is your responsibility.

Question 6

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

Accepted Answer

The name doesn't have to match but if you are unable to attend we would appreciate knowing at least the day before so we can offer the place to someone else.

Are the refreshments free?

They are but as a non-profit organisation with limited funds donations towards the refreshments will be most appreciated. CASH ONLY.
