We can’t wait to meet you and help you to discover everything you need to know about our amazing computing and digital courses! Meet our friendly staff, catch up with your future classmates, see our excellent facilities and experience what it’s like to be a student at Sunderland College. This event will include:<ul><li>A campus tour where you can visit the classrooms and workshops you'll be using, Learning Resource Centre, Campus Cafe and so much more.</li><li>You can also take part in fun activities and find out about the exciting careers that you can progress to.</li><li>Towards the end of the event we will have a Parents Session where parents and guardians will have the opportunities to ask any questions they might have.</li></ul>This exciting event is exclusively for Year 11s who have applied for a computing and digital course.To attend this event, you will need to pre-register. Please choose one of the ticket options available - <ul><li>Next Gen - Visual Effects: How I Got Lost in Space</li></ul>An introduction to the world of green screen compositing. Using Adobe Premiere and Photoshop to place you on another world and learn how green screen is used in blockbuster movies.<ul><li>Computing: Let’s Build a Mobile App!</li></ul>Create a mobile app using MIT’s App Inventor. Create a game or maybe a quiz (or anything else you can think of). Get creative.
