What to Expect:
We will cover a range of topics, including:
- Understanding your baby
- Baby’s brain development
- Your future as parents and as a family
- Your roots, traditions, hopes and fears for the future
- Breastfeeding and the practical tasks of caring for a new baby
- The need to look after ourselves
Our class provides a welcoming space to ask questions, share experiences, and connect with other parents-to-be.
Who is it for?
For those who are at least 24 weeks pregnant and their birth partners. Suitable for first-time parents or those looking for a refresher. You only need to book one ticket, and this will include your birth-partner.
Please note: This event will be held within the Restaurant at Barnsley Hospital, in meeting room 1.
