Wellbeing and Sleep
Do you struggle with your sleep? Would you like to improve your sleep quality and explore ways to achieve this?
Welcome to this FREE two session course, open to anyone aged 18 or over with a GP practice in Eden or Keswick and Solway.
The course aims to look at tool and stratgies for achieving improved sleep quality, including exploring barriers, goal setting and mindfulness.
The dates for the course are: 24th March and 31st March. Time will be the same for both sessions. Please note it is advised you attend both sessions. Please only book one ticket per person as it will cover both sessions.
Free parking on site and a beverage will be provided.
Information will be emailed to the attendees two working days before the first session, however if you have any questions please email: wellbeing@ncic.nhs.uk
Enrolling on this course means you are giving your consent to access your GP records to register you for our course on our service’s digital NHS record system.
The data you provide to the Wellbeing Service will be stored securely and will be used for the purposes of administering your attendance on this course and in accordance with the NHS data protection policy, which is in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations.
Please note, our courses are open only to patients in a GP practice in either Keswick and Solway or Eden Integrated Care Communities/Primary Care Networks.
We will send you confirmation and details of the course after the closing date for booking free tickets.
PSYCHOLOGICAL WELLBEING
Please note that our courses are not a treatment for psychological health difficulties or addiction. We do explore self-help tools, including mindfulness, which are proven to be beneficial for psychological health in the right circumstances. If you have recently received or are currently receiving treatment or medication from a psychiatrist, psychotherapist or counsellor for an ongoing psychological health difficulty, we strongly advise that you consider carefully whether this is the right time for you to take part in this course. You might want to postpone participation in the course until a later date.
