Wellbeing at Work Programme Launch

Commissioned, supported and funded by Plymouth City Council, the Wellbeing team provide free and accessible opportunities to community groups, individuals and workplaces wanting to access training and workshops across the city.Alongside our partnership with One You Plymouth to deliver community-based support for healthy lifestyles, we also provide a range of free programmes for workplaces across the city. These include our Wellbeing at Work Awards, Wellbeing Champions programme, and tailored wellbeing training. In addition, we offer free NHS Health Checks, Know Your Numbers sessions, networking opportunities, and a variety of health and wellbeing resources.Discover the latest events, including our Wellbeing Training, Workshops, Webinars, and our Annual Health and Wellbeing Networking Event below.

The Wellbeing Team Livewell Southwest

<H2>Welcome to the Launch of the Wellbeing at Work Programme on the 12th February 2019 which will  include the launch of the Wellbeing at Work Awards and the WorkFit programme.</H2>
 
<H2>Who should attend</H2>
Anyone who either works for, or is involved with, any business or organisation within Plymouth who is interested in improving the health and wellbeing of their staff or colleagues. 
 
<H2>How much is it to attend?</H2>
The launch day is free to attend - all you need to do is book your place. 
Booking will close on the 4th February 2019 at 9am.
 
<H2>What to expect from the day</H2>
9.00am Refreshments on arrival. An opportunity to browse the marketplace and to network.
9.30am Welcome from Jan Potter Head of Health Improvement, Livewell Southwest
9.35am Opening address from Adam Morris, Chief Executive, Livewell Southwest
10.00am The national picture of workplace wellbeing from Professor Kevin Elliston, Deputy Director of Health & Wellbeing South West, Public Health England
10.45am  Refreshment break
11.00am The local picture of workplace wellbeing from Ruth Harrell, Director of Public Health, Plymouth City Council
11.30am  Introduction to the workplace wellbeing programme and website from Alison Rowntree, Health Improvement Manager / Tim Collicott, Advanced Health Improvement Practitioner, Livewell Southwest
11.50am Introduction to the WorkFit programme from Frances Brennan, Strategic Stakeholder Lead, Pluss
12.10pm  Question and answer session
12.30pm  Lunch. An opportunity to browse the marketplace and to network.
2.00pm  Close
