For this first session in May, we will be doing a nature count survey called a bioblitz. In doing so, we will be taking notice of the nature around us, slowing down and realizing the abundance and variety of wildlife that we so easily miss.
You will:
· Learn new ways to support your own wellbeing whilst caring for nature
· Take Notice of the wildlife around you
· Get Active - this will always be at a gentle pace
· Connect with new people
· Give Back to nature
There is no previous experience or knowledge needed at all - we will be exploring and learning together.
The activities will all be in a small group and will be led by Warwickshire Wildlife Trust staff.
Our base for the sessions is Coundon Social Club, Shorncliffe Rd, Coventry CV6 1GP.
The venue has free parking, there are accessible toilets and we will have a break for a hot drink and biscuits.
You will also need:
Outdoor shoes like trainers or wellies that you don't mind getting muddy if it's damp
Clothes suitable for the weather
Sun cream
Attendance is FREE. There will be a session on the 1st Thursday of each month, so please do look for future dates and book on if you can attend.
