Did you know that the average size of a women’s pension pot at age 65 is 1/5 the size of a man’s?
Women in Law Scotland and Tilney are pleased to host a financial wellbeing event were we will discuss ways that we can raise awareness of this issue as well as mechanisms that can be put in place to change the trend.
Join us, Taina Moran Chartered Financial Planner from Tilney and Executive Coach Kirsty Maynor from Firefly for hints, tips and discussion on improving your financial wellbeing in 2020. There will also be able time for networking and chat.
There is a small charge for this event which will go to Smartworks. Smartworks provide clothing and coaching to women with job interviews. If you have an item of clothing which you could donate please feel free to bring that too!

About our Speakers
Taina is a Chartered Financial Planner, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Insurance, STEP Affiliate and member of Consensus Scotland. As a financial planner she helps clients to achieve their financial goals. She specialises in cash flow analysis, pensions, planning for retirement as well as inter-generational planning for families. 
In addition, Taina is a key member of Tilney’s specialist Divorce Team who advise clients going through a divorce or separation. Pre-settlement, Taina helps clients make informed decisions by using cashflow to understand the context of any proposed settlement, spousal and child aliment awards, and how this affects their income and expenditure, now and in future years. She advises on the split of the matrimonial assets, on ownership and the associated tax implications and provides advice on pension sharing.
Taina continues to work with clients post-divorce, helping to rebuild pension provision and working with the investment managers to ensure clients assets are managed in line with their needs and risk objectives. Taina has worked on a number of collaborative cases as a Financial Neutral and is an active member of the Edinburgh Collaborative Pod. 

Kirsty is a highly experienced leadership and executive coach with a specialism in working with pioneers and innovative organisations.  
Bringing a blend of coaching, facilitation, workshop-based training, mentoring and supervision Kirsty is known for her trademark creativity, strategic thinking and ability to work closely in partnership with individuals and organisations to help them achieve what they thought they could not achieve alone.  In working with organisations and individuals, she quickly gets to the core of what matters, and then holds that as the guiding compass for her work, adapting and flexing to suit the evolving landscape.  As the first certified facilitator of the Dare to Lead (TM) programme created by Dr Brene Brown Kirsty is evolving her work with leaders who need to bring additional courage to their roles.  In 2019 this included working with leaders from BAME backgrounds and women in leadership.
Kirsty’s passion is in working with leaders and organisations who are changing the status quo, disrupting the system and bringing innovation to change the way we live and work.  With over 20 years of experience in organisational change and development, Kirsty founded Firefly in 2011 to be able to bring a new way of development to life.  Based in Scotland, Firefly has delivered leading-edge development programmes to organisations including Skyscanner, Sky and the NHS.
