Alex Shufflebottom is a fearless people-centred leader whose career spans more than 25 years in construction and manufacturing. She began working in her family business as a teenager and left further to the sale of the business as Managing Director, guiding the company through some of its most challenging and transformative periods. Under her leadership, the business grew significantly and achieved national recognition for excellence.

Alex is widely respected for her compassion, integrity, and courage—qualities she has used to support employees and to champion wellbeing in traditionally male-dominated industries. Alongside her board roles with RIDBA and Manufacturing Wales, she continues to advocate for better workplaces, stronger communities, and leadership grounded in humanity.
