We invite Toad Patrol members and anyone else interested in UK native toads to this FREE event!

Shibden Room

Froglife's annual Toad Summit returns, this year taking place in Halifax, West Yorkshire. Our partners are Calderdale Council, Halifax Scientific Society, Amphibian and Reptile Groups UK (ARG-UK) and local toad patrols.It is an excellent opportunity for Toad Patrol members and fellow toad enthusiasts to get together, share ideas, and learn more about the best ways to conserve our native toads. Toad Patrols up and down the country make an invaluable contribution to toad conservation. Over the last 10 years, they have helped save almost 800,000 toads! The afternoon will include a short programme of talks with plenty of time for discussion and networking. Speakers include:Angela Julian, Amphibians and Reptile groups UK

Local Toad Patrol Managers
This event is free, and is open to all Toad Patrollers and anyone else interested in learning more about toad conservation. Tea and coffee will be provided. The venue is fully accessible, do let us know if you have any special requirements. Pay and display parking is available adjacent to the venue in the North Bridge Car park.The nearest railway station is Halifax Rail Station, which is about a 15 minute walk away from the venue.We look forward to seeing you there!
