Who is this event for?

This event is for anyone who lives with a myeloproliferative neoplasm (MPN), their families and friends. MPNs include Essential Thrombocytopaenia, Polycythaemia Vera and Myelofibrosis.

Do I need any medical or scientific knowledge?

Accepted Answer

No. No specialist knowledge is required. Just come with your own experience of living with MPN.

Will I have the opportunity to ask questions about my condition?

Accepted Answer

Our expert speakers will not be able to answer questions about any individual person's illness. But you can ask questions about how MPN is diagnosed and what happens in the laboratory.

Who is funding the research?

The research is lead by the University of Oxford, with funding from Cancer Research UK and Blood Cancer UK.
