Following the result of the referendum on EU memebrship, Theresa May, now our Prime Minister, adopted the language of extremeists and argued that the status of EU citizens living in the UK should be used as a 'bargaining chip' in Brexit talks. The only other people advocating this was the hard right British Nationalist Party.

These events leave many of us with questions. What do we do now to ensure the rights of EU nationals during Brexit negotiations? What action can we take? What can all of us in the UK expect from the negotiations in the months ahead?

The Vauxhall Liberal Democrats invite you to a meeting with friend Alistair Carmichael MP at St John’s Church, Waterloo, at 7.30pm on Wednesday 7th September. The Church is on the roundabout by Waterloo Station.

Alistair is the Home Affairs spokesperson for the Liberal Democrats in Parliament.

We have invited him to talk about what the Liberal Democrats are doing to make sure that EU citizens living in the UK have their rights protected. He will also be able to brief us on what lies ahead for Britain over the next few years as the country seeks to leave the European Union.

The meeting is open to everybody, regardless of who you normally support at elections. Do feel free to bring a friend or family.
