Hear from Chris Brook, Banking tutor talk about career opportunities after completing L3 Senior Financial Service Customer Advisor apprenticeship. Chris will discuss further study options and different types of roles you can get into after completing the apprenticeship including LIBF memebrships. Chris will explore diffrent career paths such as Morgage Advice, Risk and Compliance and Management and Leadership.

Chris has 25 years banking experience across a broad range of Leadership roles in Retail Banking, he is a highly self motivated, ambitious with exceptional analytical and leadership skills, a proven track record of delivering excellence for colleagues, customers and shareholders. He has enjoyed key development roles, influencing and implementing significant strategic and change projects across the Branch network, more recent experience of operations manager and project manager within a remediation capacity. Chris has significant experience in driving improvement and performance across customers processes, operations, control framework and business change in retail branches and in his recent interim roles.Chris is also a past golf club captain and has completed his MBA studies from Ashridge Business School.

Poppy Laila, Personal Development and Inclusion Manager, Kaplan Financial

Poppy 's career in education and apprenticeship has seen her involvement in coordinating additional learning needs provisions to maximise equity for all learners by removing any barriers and making learning as inclusive as possible. Additionally, she is the current careers lead at Kaplan, a qualified Mental Health First Aider and safeguarding representative. Poppy chairs the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) and Careers Information, Advice, and Guidance (CIAG) champions at Kaplan to promote equality, diversity and inclusivity in all areas of education and apprenticeship.


Jenny Pelling - Director of Apprenticeship Development and Diversity at Kaplan Financial

Jenny's career in education and apprenticeships has seen her involvement in designing programmes and enhancing provision for learners and employers' benefit. She is one of the two Wellbeing Leads at Kaplan and a qualified Mental Health First Aider. Jenny is also the lead at Kaplan for ""Brighter Futures"" which focuses on social mobility of apprenticeships and providing opportunity for all.

This is suitable for Kaplan apprentices, Kaplan UK students, Kaplan staff, and any employers who want to join. We have a limit of available places, which will be allocated on a first come first-served basis. We look forward to seeing you all there!
