<P>Dr Graeme Brown, Assistant Professor in Criminal Law at Durham University, will be be exploring the developments in the sentencing of rape and whether greater reform is needed. He will be comparing Scottish sentencing practices with other jurisdictions and asking whether the guideline judgment on rape sentencing given by the NZ Cour of Appeal provides a suitable template for reform of the Scottish sentencing practice.</P>
