To celebrate Refugee Week and Pride Month, this workshop invites you to explore the concept of “home”, both as a physical place and as an internal sense of belonging.
Recoverist Curator Penny will begin with a screening of her short film Where Are You Really From?, opening up conversations around migration, queer identity and the complexities of feeling at home in the world.
Participants will then take part in a collaborative zine-making workshop inspired by the current Recoverist Curators exhibition at the Whitworth Art Gallery, using collage, writing and visual storytelling to create personal and collective responses to this theme.
