About this event

A beginner-level introductory workshop on carving in wood in the Scandinavian Flat-Plane style. The workshop focuses on the therapeutic aspects of handcrafting in community, including nervous system regulation, concentration, relaxation, social interaction, screen detox, reconnection with natural materials (wood) and its natural environment (woodland), reconnecting with your body and mind in a way we're not used to anymore, while sharing a delicious homemade seasonal soup and freshly baked savory bun with friends and like minded people.

Food will be provided by August 21 Cafe' (vegan options available)

Duration: 4 to 5 hours (time flies! )

Tools and materials are provided

A cut resistant glove is recommended (tight fit)
