Whoberley Hall Primary School PINS Parent Engagement Event
Join us for a collaborative and engaging PINS event where parent carers can connect, learn, and share experiences!
About This Event
Join us for the second Parent Carer Engagement Event at Whoberley Hall Primary School as part of the national PINS (Partnership for Inclusion of Neurodiversity in Schools) programme.
This session focuses on What Works for Our Neurodivergent Families — a relaxed Parent Carer Panel where families share the everyday approaches, insights, and lived experiences that help their neurodivergent children feel more regulated, understood, and supported.
Everyone is welcome to join us exactly as you are.
What We’ll Explore Together
- What’s helping neurodivergent families navigate daily challenges
- Strategies and routines that support emotional regulation
- How parent carers understand and respond to stress and overwhelm
- Practical ideas that help neurodivergent children feel safe and ready to learn
- Reflections and themes shared by Whoberley Hall families in previous sessions
- How we can work together to strengthen inclusion across the school community
What to Expect
- A friendly introduction from school and the Parent Carer Forum
- A calm, parent-only space to settle and take part safely
- A gentle, guided discussion (sharing is always optional)
- Practical ideas and resources to take away
- Time to ask questions and meet other parent carers
- Refreshments provided
We aim to keep the space private, calm, and uninterrupted, as many neurodivergent families tell us this helps them participate comfortably.
Who Can Attend?
All parent carers of children at Whoberley Hall Primary School are warmly invited.
You do not need to have attended previous events — you’re welcome to join at any point.
Access Needs
We want this event to be fully accessible.
If you need interpreters, sensory considerations, seating adjustments, or anything else that would help you take part comfortably, please let us know when you book.
