For our 10th Whoโs Hungry? Gathering, we invite you into an evening centred on love, timed to coincide with Valentineโs Day ! ๐๐๐๐๐
Beginning from the familiar language of romantic love, this gathering expands that frame, understanding love as a relational practice that emerges through sharing, care, vulnerability, and collective presence. Shaped in collaboration with Cora Seghal Cuthbert and a wider community of creative contributors, the evening unfolds as an inquiry: where does love reside? In art, in food, in prayer, in community, in ritual, in grief, in loneliness, in heritage? These questions will be explored through a constellation of forms and gestures, creating a space where visual, cultural, culinary, sonic, and emotional languages intersect and invite participation.
The menu, rooted in South Asian cuisine, engages with food heritage and the circulation of cultural knowledge beyond the domestic sphere. Inspired by private rituals, eating together becomes a love practice, extending care and intimacy into a wider communal context.
As Cora writes, love is a practice of openness and attentiveness: to be open to the world, to look at the world, to spend time with it, and to give it attention.
This gathering invites you to enter that practice slowly, collectively, and with intention.

We look forward to seeing you there!
With love and light,
